Yesterday we noticed Juliet had a splinter in her hand. For whatever reason she absolutely refused to let us take care of it throwing a huge tantrum.
Fine, we will take matters into our own hands.
After getting her tucked in bed and waiting a good amount of time to make sure Sleeping Beauty was in a deep sleep, we went in with our tools and quietly took care of that nasty splinter.
Operation Hand Splinter: SUCCESS
To make it a little fun, we applied a bandaid to her hand so when he woke up she would know something had happened. We also left four quarters on her nightstand and when she woke up, told her the Splinter Fairy had come and taken it out. Lol.
A parent has to have some fun right?
