Interesting turn of events....

When Allen went out to feed the goats, he saw something really cool. He said we had to see it so we threw on our boots as went out.

There in the high grass was our one remaining chicken and three little baby chicks. We heard more chirping so we checked inside the coop to find three more chicks!

We had been given some eggs and an incubator from a friend and put the extra ones under our lone chicken.

The ones in the incubator did not fare so well but now we have these little guys!

They'll be a nice dry run for our larger chicken order that comes in later this month!
