Crusty French Toast

Awhile ago I started making my own "Uncrustables" sandwiches. The blog were I found how to do that suggested not wasting the crusts by freezing them to use later for french toast.

Tonight I was all set to make cheese eggs for dinner when I remembered I had pulled the crusts out of the freezer recently and should probably use them.

I mixed some farm fresh eggs (courtesy of our neighbors) with a bit of vanilla and cinnamon, mixed in the crusts and voilà, crusty French toast!

I will say that this doesn't look as pretty as regular French toast but it sure tastes just as good.
