Smell that?

I woke up late last night to the scent of skunk seeping into the house. I don't know what scared the thing to make it spray but I hope it doesn't come back tonight.

By this morning the smell still lingered and had even penetrated my car.

To help make the house smell nice again I opened all the windows, turned all the fans on and used a stove-top recipe from Pinterest (said its what they use in the William Sanoma stores).

Water, lemon slices (I did not have so I used lemon juice), vanilla, rosemary and I added some cinnamon. Within a half hour, the house smelled all warm and sweet.

It looked a lot prettier when I first started but I decided to snap a shot after it had been going for a few hours anyway.
